This dog is adorable!

Shirley is doing well at her foster farm in Southern Wisconsin. She has two fur sisters in the house: a yellow lab and a black German Shorthaired Pointer.

This loving Pointer is energetic outside and well-mannered inside. In two months there haven't been any accidents, and she's respectful of the furniture. She doesn't mind the times when she has to be in her crate, and trips over herself to welcome home whoever just came in. She's equally friendly with complete strangers, and loves kids!

Shirley is very affectionate and loving. She snuggles, cuddles, and grunts with pleasure when she gets her ears scratched. There have been a few disputes with the other dogs--once over a toy and a couple of times over attention from the foster dad, so Shirley feels that she'd maybe do better in a house with no dogs.

Shirley shows interest in birds, but her foster dad hasn't started training her to point yet. Regardless of whether she'd be a legendary hunter, she's a wonderful, affectionate housetrained pet
